Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to show you how to remove wax from your carpet. If you have candles, which most women do, they smell really good but they are a mess if you get wax on anything that's cloth. This method works for your couch, you know, as long as it's not leather, which, getting wax off leather's easy. But, you know, any kind of fabric, this method will work with. As you can see, we've got a candle. We've dumped some wax on this piece of carpet right here. You want to get a paper bag, a brown paper bag. You can cut a piece out of it, you know, you may need more than one piece, depending on the size of the stain, or the size of the wax. Get a hot iron. And just put it on the paper bag, go over it. You may have to use more than one piece of paper, or paper bag. But if you just keep doing this, all of the wax will be pulled up into the paper bag. As you can see, the wax is coming up off of the carpet right there. Once you get all of the wax out, and it's on, you know, into the paper, if it's a colored candle, you will be left with a stain. In that case, use a spot remover to remove, you know, any discoloration in your carpet. But that's basically it. Easy as pie. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and that is how you remove wax from carpeting.
