Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to properly fold a fitted sheet. It is really not that hard but it is something that is new to me. I didn't know there was a proper way to do it but it is embarrassing when you have guests come in from out of town and you get them some fresh new clean sheets on their bed and they smell good and they are so pretty but they have been in the closet wadded up because you don't know how to fold the sheets. Anyway if you want to make a good impression this is how you properly fold your fitted sheets so they don't look all wrinkly. When you pull it out of the dryer try to do this when your sheets are still warm because they'll keep their shape better and won't get as wrinkled so I'll bring it in here so I can show you easier. You have your corners, stick your hands in the corners like puppets, flip this corner out and keep this corner flipped in. Match those corners up, then you have these two corners. You want to do the same. You want to fit the corners inside of each other. You can kind of run your hand along the seam until you have got this cool little fitted sheet puppet going on. Now that side was flipped out and you want to have it all looking nice and uniform. Now you want to flip this so that you can stick it inside that one. Now lay your sheet down and you should have a half moon crescent shape with all the elastic parts of the sheet. It is a lot flatter than it usually is because this is actually how you are supposed to fold them so give it a good fold over that time, fold over one more time and it looks just like every other sheet that is in your closet now. It doesn't look like just a big wadded up mess. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you properly fold a fitted sheet.
