Hi my name is Jeremiah Johnson; I’m the owner and operator of S&J Cleanaway. Now that we’ve covered how to sweep a floor, I’m going to go ahead and show you how to wet mop a floor properly. The system we’re using is a little large so you can get any kind of economical wet mop at a retail store. In the solution bucket, I’ve got disinfectant, you can use that to disinfect the floor or you can just use a cleaner to clean the floor and leave a fresh smell. We’re going to go ahead and ring that out with a ringer, we’re going to go ahead and start along the edges where a lot of the debris builds up. Once we get in the corner, you really want to get it in there and loosen up any debris that are stuck there. As you’re mopping you’re going to want to kind of take a figure 8 back and forth and flip it quite often. Go ahead and ring it out as it gets dirty. Changing your mop water frequently will help you out when you’re mopping a bathroom floor. So that’s about it for wet mopping a bathroom floor.
