Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean a stain off of your vinyl siding. First you may want to try to pressure wash it. You can usually rent pressure washers if you're wanting to clean the entire side of your house but if there is just certain spots that may need it more than others you can get one of these water sprayers and add this house wash into the bottle, you know, follow the directions. You may need to add some water and you want to let this sit on the vinyl siding for about 20 minutes before you rinse it off with a hose. You can also make a solution using six gallons of water and about a half a cup of laundry detergent. Use that to fill up your water sprayer and let it sit for 20 minutes just like the other and then rinse it off. If you want to do something more hands on and you have access to a ladder or you have a stain that you really don't think is going to spray off you may want to mix some bleach and water, get a scrubby brush and use some good old elbow grease to scrub it. In this bucket I have actually mixed dish soap with water. Dish soap is awesome for cleaning anything outside. It is usually pretty gentle and it is good at removing oils. Just get a soft bristled brush, try to scrub in the direction of the grain, you know obviously it's not wood but it still has a pattern to it and you want to scrub in that direction. After you have done that you wan to rinse every little section. I would say before it dries you want to rinse it with water and it's that simple. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean stains off of vinyl siding.
