Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean up oil spills. Normally this is going to happen in the garage or on your driveway, and it's pretty easy to clean up. You just gotta make sure to soak up all the oil and keep it away from open flames, obviously. But, get some kitty litter. If you don't have kitty litter, sawdust or anything super absorbent will work. And sprinkle it over the oil spill. Let it soak it up really well. You may want to let it set for ten or fifteen minutes and then, grab a broom and sweep it up. You may have to do this several times before you've soaked up all of the oil. And once you're left with just the stain, (well, we'll just lay it down here) you'll be left with a stain and the best thing to remove the stain with is dish soap and water. Dish soap is always really good with cutting grease, so find one that says it's an excellent grease cutter. And grab a scrub brush and just really work it in. You want to make sure to rinse this off really well, get some clean water and a sponge and just try to wipe up the soapy water so that nobody slips and hurts themselves on it. But that'll get rid of it. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean up oil spills.
