Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to show you how to clean a dorm bathroom. Maybe you lost a bet. Maybe it's just your turn for whatever reason you gotta clean up a bathroom that a whole bunch of people use. Tough luck. You can use cheap things, which a lot of college people are on a budget. Like vinegar and baking soda will make you a paste. Just like this. And you can use this toothbrush to help scrub any stains that may be on your sink, in the grout, in the floor. This is basically going to be your your bathroom scrub, your tile and grout scrub. If you need to let it sit on a stain for a long time, it'll cook the stain to the surface. And then you can wipe it away. If you're lucky enough to not have that big of a budget, you can try some cleaning products that you can buy from the store. All-purpose cleaners are awesome 'cause you can use them on the entire bathroom except for the glass. And you can get the job done a lot quicker. This one in particular you just spray it and wipe. With a lot of green cleaning products like this, there's no need to rinse them off. You can just spray it on there and work it with a rag and leave it. When it dries, it won't leave spots. You can find a lot of cleaners like that. Also if you think there's a lot of bacteria or you may be a little bit iffy about germs, maybe somebody's sick, and you really want to deep clean the bathroom, you may want to get some bleach and water. You only need a splash of bleach and a bucket of water, just a little bit. Don't use too much bleach because the fumes will really hurt you. So a splash of bleach and a bucket of water will clean the entire bathroom, and it'll sparkle really nicely. Also if you want to do a more earth-friendly alternative, it's not going to be harmful to you and it's not going to harm the earth. Vinegar is also a great disinfectant. So grab a bucket of water, a splash of vinegar and it'll do the same job. You can clean everything with that, even the glass. Make sure you have a good glass cleaner. When you're cleaning glass, you want to make sure to always use the dry side of the rag or the paper towel or newspaper, whatever you use to clean. Make sure you always use the dry side. That's how you keep streaks from happening. Once you've saturated that one side you're wiping with, flip it over and use the other side. It never hurts to apply a little bit of pressure for glass cleaners, and that helps get rid of the streaks also. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean a dorm bathroom.
