Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean yellowed plastic. Plastic turns yellow after it gets old and after a while. So luckily white plastic is the only plastic that will turn yellow. So what you want to do is if you're outside get like a plastic pool or like a washtub or something, if you're inside and it's cold out, you want to get a bathtub. Turn the water on, put a splash of bleach in there, just a small splash is all it takes. Let this fill up until the plastic piece is submerged. Let it soak in there for quite a long time, a couple of hours. After that, you want to have some steel wool to scrub it with. Scrub it as much as you can and you should just be able to see the difference. You may not be able to get the plastic completely white again. If the bleach is not going to get it white, nothing is. But this is the best way to do it if you're going to try. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and these are tips on cleaning yellowed plastic.
