Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to show you how to clean a 6 gallon plastic water bottle. First you want to use, get some un-popped popcorn, even if it's flavored or has butter that's not a big deal because you're going to mix other things with it that will get any oil off of it. Okay, next- the popcorn is used to kind of agitate any of the dirt and grime that's in the water bottle. Next you want to pour some vinegar in there, probably about, I would say about 3 cups of vinegar. A little bit goes a long way, but this is a big water jug. Add some hot water. Once you get it about a third of the way full or even maybe half way, you can turn your water off, and then just shake it around or get your husband to do it if you're not strong enough to, like me. But you want to shake it around really good where the popcorn is bouncing off the sides and really agitating the dirt or grime or mold or anything that may be in the water bottle. Once you're done, just empty it out. Be sure to let it dry completely before you put more water in it, you don't want any mold growing in it, and since you used hot water to wash it, just make sure you dry it completely before you fill it back up. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and that's how you clean a 6 gallon water bottle.
