So in order to propagate this alligator jaw or any other plant that you may take cuttings or plant seeds, this is a commercial type of potting arrangement. It has a bunch of cells that are well drained in the bottom and they are in 6-pack configurations. If you have gone to the local store and bought plants, a lot of times they come in these 6-packs. What I am going to do is put the potting soil right on top and let it fill in the cells. We'll do a few here and take some of these cuttings. Try to get it as level over the top without packing it down as you can. You don't want the cell to be hard as concrete. This does have some larger pieces which probably is not the best thing in the world but still it is better than something that is going to weigh a ton.
