Ok, now that we've watered the bush in, the blueberry bush in, we're going to mulch it. So we have pine mulch here that we're going to put around. We want to make this fairly thick that way the ground will stay nice and moist. The pine needles will feed the plant, I mean the pine mulch will feed the plant as it breaks down, creating the acidic environment that the plant needs in order to thrive. Now we also brought some pine needles. I like to finish up my pile, my mulching, with the pine needles. It helps hold in the moisture even more. I just like the way the pine needles look. Make sure we get it all around there, and there we have the mulched in blueberry plant. All happy, watered in and protected.
