Hi! My name is Allen Watts from Anything Grows, a store for gardeners in Stratford, Ontario. On behalf of expertvillage.com, I am happy to speak to you today about tips for new gardeners and specifically the patience. I think patience is a tip for new gardeners, for any gardener is a good one because in the end nature rules and its a good thing to learn in true gardening. If you are a type of person who is a do it your selfer, patience is especially important because you will make mistakes and mistakes are okay, but with every mistake you will learn a lot and I think it is just accepting that and the way that you approach you approach your garden or gardening and it is a healthy approach that you are not expected to get everything right the first time and for every gardener I know for as much as they know, there is lots more to learn. So it is not something you can learn overnight. If you are the type of person who you would like to hire to have your gardening done, patience I think is still important because if you rush into your design or rush into your wish list too quickly, you may short sell yourself in terms of what you really want or your ideas might change. So again, I encourage patience for people perhaps hiring or contracting the work to ask a lot of questions, visit a lot of gardens. Make sure that there is a good understanding first before going ahead of what you really do wan t and how you want to approach it.
