Hi I'm Stan DeFreitas, Mr. Green Thumb from on gardening. Once of the most important elements besides MPNK is that of magnesium. Magnesium sulfate is often used by many gardeners especially on palm trees and many of your other plants. Remember there's MPNK and then there is calcium sulfur and magnesium. Here we have magnesium sulfate. Magnesium sulfate is important especially on your palms. If that bottom row of fronds start to get kind of a yellow color then you need to apply some magnesium sulfate. Now some people will buy this as Epsom salts, you can buy it that way, it really depends on the price. If you can get a good buy out at the nursery, you may want to buy it in a larger bag. Epsom salts, magnesium sulfates it's the same thing. Magnesium is an element that helps in the iron uptake in the plant. Now it helps to pull the iron up so that it helps to green up the plant. If you are getting the lower end of your plant is starting to yellow out you probably need to apply some magnesium, magnesium sulfate to your plant. Magnesium is one of the top six elements and it's important for good growth. For on gardening I'm Stan DeFreitas, Mr. Green Thumb.
