"Hi, this is Steve for Expert Village and today we'll be talking about getting started with organic gardening. What you want to do is make sure you have a nice rich soil to start your garden. You want to make sure that no pesticides; no chemical nutrients have been placed on the soil. So if your starting with an inert soil what you want to do is add our organic nutrient into the soil, mix it in. Here's a good product, the Marine Cuisine. It has all of your different amendments you need to add; Cottonseed meal, Blood meal, Earthworm Castings, fish meal, , Shrimp Meal, Crab Meal, Bat Guano, Sea Bird Guano, Kelp Meal, and the different carbonates that you need to help ensure you have a healthy soil. You can make sure that when you start your organic garden you use organic seeds that way you ensure one hundred percent organic plant. You can add a starter mix, rich with Mycorrhizae and Humic Acid which will help put beneficial microorganisms into the soil and help the roots grow and the plants take off a lot better."
