Hi, this is Yolanda Vanveen and in this segment, we're going to talk about how to fertilize vegetables organically. Now I really believe that we don't need to use fertilizers. Fertilizers, to me, are like using vitamins. If you have a good diet of vegetables and proteins, then you wouldn't need vitamins. The same with your vegetables. If they have a great diet of compost, organic soil, then they wouldn't need any fertilizer. So you can find that you don't really need to fertilize any of your vegetables. Just stop doing it and by watering really well and using organic material, good compost, good potting soil and mix that's airy, and good drainage using raised beds and every fall, putting another layer of compost on that area. By using compost and organic materials, you will find that you do not need fertilizers. And if it's not broke, you don't need to fix it, so never ever fertilize your vegetables because it's chemicals and I can live without chemicals and so can my plants.
