How to Mulch Your Garden: Gardening Tips

Hello! My name is Jose Zuniga. I am a professional gardener and today I am here to represent expertvillage.com. Well basically I am going to guide you step by step on how to mulch your snap dragons. You can buy your regular mulch which is more inexpensive or the high end which is going to be the organic. The only difference is that the organic has more nutrients in it and it is also going to break down dissolved much quicker which is good for the plants. So whatever is on your budget, then we can just take it from there. What we are going to do first is as you can see here, is we have this loose soil which is great. We also have some leaves from the trees. It's fine to leave them there because that is going to act as a compost. What we are going to do is spread it throughout, around the flowers, all around the plant and don't be greedy with the rest of the other pants because they mulch as well. This particular project we've got to do the circular around the plant so that we are able to maintain better control of the drainage. The mulch is going to already maintained the moisture that is required for the soil. Here just add the mulch, spread it out evenly. We don't need to do a circular because it's not going to be necessary because we do have better control of the drainage here, so the mulch is just going to help protect the water from the sun and it is going to keep that moisture that is needed for our wonderful snapdragons.
