Lovers of winter squash say, arguably, that the buttercups are the best tasting winter squash. Very sweet, stringless, fiberless flesh. It will store for several months. 4 - 5 squash per plant.
One packet plants 5 hills or 15 plants after thinning.

When to Sow Inside: Not normally recommended, but in very short
