Lettuce: Butterhead: Kagraner Sommer - Seeds & Bulbs
Lettuce - Butterhead
Kagraner Sommer
This French butterhead was originally from Germany and is a 'sleeper.' Unlike most butterheads, it is very slow to bolt in summer heat. Excellent for window boxes and indoor pots, this lettuce also makes a cute border plant. The mild tasting leaves are soft and buttery, not crunchy. Medium-sized heads. This packet plants three 10-foot rows or seven successive plantings of 5-foot rows.
