Birdhouse (Bottle Gourd)
Still used in Mexico and other areas for making water bottles. Popular with crafters and gardeners for making birdhouses.

Calabash (Penguin)
Used in Japan to make pipes.

Corsican
A flattened round gourd with uniform shape, ideal for bowls and lidded containers.

Dipper
Not only dips water, but also makes a cleaver potted plant container.

Speckled Swan
Stunning in fall centerpieces and other crafts.

When to Sow Outside: 2 to 3 weeks after last frost. Soil temperature should be at least 65 degrees and outside temperature should be at least 60 degrees.
When to Sow Inside: Not recommended, but in short season climates, they can be started 3-4 weeks before last frost.

Seed Spacing: 6 seeds per hill
Row Spacing: Plant in hills spaced 6' to 8' apart.
Days to Emerge: 5 - 10
Thinning: When plants have several leaves, thin to 3 per hill.
