Thirty-one acres here are devoted to a botanical garden of rare and unusual plants, all of them native to Florida. In addition to conservatories featuring orchids and other tropical plants, the park offers extensive outdoor gardens with walkways ornamented by trellises, interpretive trails, and a variety of appealing walks. Less well known than its neighbor, Busch Gardens, this park is a serious botanical garden for those with a taste for horticultural and aesthetic pleasures.
