Washington Oaks Gardens State Park

Palm Coast, Florida
United States

With the Atlantic Ocean and the Mantangas River just beside you, you can walk on a boardwalk and enjoy both the water vistas and the fine formal gardens in these state gardens in the north of Florida. An unusual combination of the formal and the natural, this site is particularly interesting. These 390 acres include all kinds of natural plants, rock formations, and a native hardwood hammock forest, as well as an abundant selection of azaleas, roses, camellias, and exotic species. This is a lovely spot and one that will capture the attention of both garden lovers and wanderers who prefer exploring the rocks and forest.
