Harry P. Leu Gardens

Orlando, Florida
United States

Camellias are a specialty in this large, lush fifty-six-acre garden in the heart of the historic district of Orlando and on the shore of Lake Rowena. Botanical collections feature all kinds of tropical plants and palms, and a rose collection covers a full acre. In fact, there are more than 2, 000 varieties of plants here. Created in 1936, the garden has had a long time to mature, and it is a delightful place to wander along boardwalks, footbridge, and pathways, amid many gazebos and fountains. If you need a respite from the nearby Disney hoopla, visit these lovely acres.
