Designed by the great landscape designer Frederick Law Olmsted, these gardens are special. Edward Bok, for whom they are named, was a publisher and author from Holland who created these gardens for public enjoyment in 1929. In his effort to beautify the landscape, he had a dramatic marble and coquina stone bell tower built and the gardens planted around it. (You can hear one of the world
