The gardens connected to this carefully restored (and visitable) 1750 saltbox are of particular interest to both historic garden enthusiasts and lovers of wildflowers. There is an eighteenth-century kitchen garden adjoining the house, as well as an unusually nice native wildflower woodland garden overlooking the river below.
