Examine your pool floor. Make sure it is free of tree branches, stones or any other sharp objects that could potentially pierce your new liner. Surface should be level and have a smooth base of dirt, sand or other non threatening material.
Roll your new liner out on your lawn. Again, make sure this area is free of debris also!
Remove all top pieces of your pool from the walls. Use your screwdriver to remove any pieces that are attached with screws instead of snapping on.
Install the liner receptor to the top of the pool wall, using the required hardware.
Move the liner to the inside of the pool area, and allow it to rest along the pool walls.
Snap the liner into the beaded liner receptor. This will hold your liner in place.
Adjust liner to fit smoothly against pool wall.
Use your utility knife to cut away liner from gasket area. Make the cut smaller than the gasket area. If you overcut, you will have an unwanted hole in your liner. Do this carefully!
Ask your friend to help you hold the pool walls, asyou attach the shop vacuum to the vaccum hose. This will allow the air to be sucked out between the liner and the pool walls.
Use your rubber squeegee to remove any wrinkles that are between the pool walls and liner. Continue until all wrinkles are removed.
Reattach all of the pool's top pieces.
Fill your pool with water and observe. If all looks well, you are ready to add your chemicals and enjoy a swim!
