- Preparation
Tips:
Purchase a boneless or already-sliced ham for your holiday table (this will help save time on the busy day)
- Carving
is easy! Spiral-sliced ham is ready-to-serve and tastes
as good as it looks. Estimate three to four servings
per pound for the meal. However, leftovers make great
sandwiches.
- Most
hams are available fully cooked and just need to be
reheated before serving. Follow the directions on
the package; or heat in a 350 degree F. oven for 10-15
minutes per pound, until heated through or to an internal
temperature of 140 degrees F.
- If you buy a ham labeled cook before eating, it must be cooked to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
