Easy Fiesta Christmas Tree

1 Pkg cream cheese (8 oz)
green or yellow bell pepper
1 Piece green onion -- (2 inch)
1/4 C thick and chunky salsa
1/4 C appricot preserves or orange marmalade
1 Tsp chopped fresh cilantro, chives or parsley
Assorted tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced raw veggies

Cut block of cream cheese diagonally in half. Place on serving plate with shallow rim to form triangle. Cut star out of bell pepper using star shaped cookie cutter. Place at top of tree. Place green onion piece at base of tree. Mix salsa and preserves. Spoon over cream cheese. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with crackers, tortilla chips or veggies. st 2 hours. Slice into 1/2 inch pieces.
