Mary Ann's Spicy Herb Dip
1 cup of mayonnaise
2 cups of sour cream
4 sprigs of fresh cilantro, chopped fine or 2 t dried cilantro
2 sprigs of fresh parsley, chopped fine or 1 t dried parsley
at least a fist full of fresh garlic, chopped fine or 2 T dried garlic
juice from 1/2 lime or 1 T lime juice
1 t cracked pepper
Salt to taste
1/2 sweet red pepper, chopped fine
1/2 medium sweet onion, chopped fine
2 Jalapeno or Chipotle peppers, chopped or 2 T Jalapeno sauce
Prepare at least 3 hours prior to serving. Mix all ingredients and refrigerate. Great dip for veggies or chips.
