How to Hang Flower Bouquets for Weddings

When designing décor for a wedding, it can be difficult to pick inexpensive, tasteful and stylish decorations. But flowers are one decoration that never goes out of style. Because hanging flower bouquets is a popular way to decorate a church or reception hall, some bridal supply stores are now making pew clips, hanging vases and other supplies to make decorating for your wedding easier. A vase attached to a pew clip can be inexpensively recycled into a centerpiece for the reception.

Step 1

Cut floral foam blocks with the floral knife so that they fit inside your vases.

Step 2

Arrange your bouquet before inserting it into a vase to determine the most pleasing arrangement.

Step 3

Deconstruct your bouquet and insert the stems of the flowers into the floral foam one flower stem at a time.

Step 4

Fluff up your flowers and remove any bent vegetation once all flowers are in the vase.

Step 5

Attach vase to pew clips with floral wire or ribbon.

Step 6

Hang pew clips over the tops of pews so that the clips straddle the pew tops.
