In apartments or other smaller living spaces, there may not be sufficient space to have pots on the ground or patio. To solve this problem, you need to hang ceramic flower pots from walls and other structures. Not only does hanging ceramic pots save space, it also brings the focal points of the plants up to eye level which can make them more aesthetically pleasing. Hanging ceramic pots also makes watering your plants easy--no more bending over and hurting your back to water your plants.
Take the prong of the flower pot hanger and slide it over the lip of the flower pot. Push it down tight.
Hold the pot up against the wall and mark out the hole location on the wall. Use a pencil to make the mark in case you change your mind.
Take your drill and drill a 1/8-inch hole in the wall where the mark is. This is a pilot hole and will prevent the wood from splitting when you fasten the pot to the wall.
Lift the pot back up so the pot hanger hole matches up with the hole you drilled. Take your screwdriver and screw in the anchor screws that came with the pot hanger. Make sure the pot hangs straight and then tighten the screw all the way.
