Grafting is the process of joining a nursery crop rootstock from one cultivar to the stem of another to make a new variety. The types of nursery stock grafting include: cleft graft, bark graft, side-veneer graft, splice graft, whip and tongue graft, saddle graft, bridge graft and inarch graft.
