The Best Type of Mulch for Flower Gardens
The best type of mulch to use around your flowers is compost. It has bark and other inert materials that are considered mulch, but also contains nutritious elements. Compost is a mixture of rotted leaves, manure and other organic materials. Compost provides flower beds with the same finished look as mulch.
