When to Apply Weed Killer on New Fescue?

Fescue grass, a cold-season grass that is easily seeded and can withstand both drought and shade, is sensitive to weed killer during early growth. Wait at least six weeks after planting before applying any sort of weed killer, even "weed and feed" fertilizers.
