How to Make Spring Flower Arrangements

Creating a spring flower arrangement is a simple and creative way to update a dining room table or foyer. Use small and large vases together to create an arrangement that becomes a focal point of beauty. For simple arrangement ideas, stick to one to two colors like an all white bouquet mixed with green accents. For a colorful bouquet, mix in different blooms such as roses and hydrangeas. Stunning and vibrant, large blooms are perfect to use when filling up a larger vase. Don't forget to add small fillers like hyacinth and miniature roses. Their upright and hardy stems can be tucked into hard-to-reach areas of the arrangement.

Step 1

Use a clear cylindrical vase for the spring arrangement to showcase the vibrant green stems and colorful blooms. Fill the vase with room temperature water so as not not shock the flowers.

Step 2

Add color to the floral arrangement using bright yellow tulips mixed with yellow daffodils. Add bright Gerber daisies for medium-sized flowers to help fill in the arrangement.

Step 3

Create height in the back of the container using sprigs of purple iris. Use vibrant day lilies in the front of the container to drape over the edge of the vase with their large bloom heads.

Step 4

Finish by tucking in pieces of rosemary and mint for fragrance and a burst of green throughout the bouquet. Tie a piece of satin ribbon around the vase for additional decoration to your arrangement.
