A pumpkin tree plant, also known as pumpkin on a stick or a pumpkin bush, is classified as Solanum integrifolium. The plant grows 3 to 5 feet in height and produces small, ribbed fruit similiar to pumpkins. The 2-inch fruit changes to a deep orange color as it ripens. Use the fruit in floral arrangements or as an ingredient in Asian dishes.
