Can Flower Beds Cause Mold and Mildew?

Mold and mildew are fungi that occur in moist locations. They also require organic food sources, like wood. If a wet flower bed with wood-chip mulch is adjacent to your house, mold and mildew that occurs in the flower bed may transfer to the house.
