The best office plant grows in medium light with warm temperatures. The areca palm (Chrysalidocarpus lutescens) meets these requirements. It also is easy to grow and maintain. The areca palm rates high on removal of chemical vapors and transpiration rate (evaporation through plant leaves), which improve an office environment.
