Affected Plants:
Potatoes, beans, lettuce, carrots, cabbage, corn, onion, beets, turnips.

Damage:
Chews roots, seeds, and tubers.

Predator Insects:
Beneficial nematodes.

Natural Insecticides:
Tobacco dust or tea.

Other Methods of Control:

Cultivate often to expose worms and discourage egg laying.
Plant green manure crops such as clover.
Bury halved potatoes cut side down in the soil to trap worms. Discard the potatoes after two days.
