What Do You Feed Apple Trees?

Fertilize an apple tree at least 6 inches from the base during the spring. Add 1 lb. of fertilizer the first year, 2 lbs. the second year, and 3 lbs. the third year. For a full-grown tree, add 5 to 6 lbs. Otherwise, water the tree as needed.
