What Is a Topiary Tree?

A topiary tree is created by shaping trees, shrubs or bushes into a sculpture. An elaborate example: Walt Disney World is well known for their topiary characters, like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, adorned with red and white flowers. For a simpler example, many homeowners shape their privet hedge or have a Japanese style bonsai tree.
