As with all strawberries, Sandwich Beach strawberries are picked at the peak of ripeness. Each individual fruit should be carefully picked from its stem by hand to reduce the risk of bruising. Pack the strawberries right in the field, if possible, to further reduce the risk of damage to the fruit.
