When it comes to flowers, there are meanings to the type, to the color and even to the quantity. Should you send one, a dozen or more to convey what you are trying to say? Here are the classic meanings to a dozen blooms in a bouquet, depending on the color and the amount of roses included.
A dozen roses mean love and admiration. It is a classic symbol of a romance.
A dozen red roses mean true love. Alternatively it can also mean courage and respect.
A dozen white roses will show innocence and purity. Yellow symbolizes friendship, while yellow roses with red tips show "friendship with a hint of love." A dozen pink roses represent gladness or joy.
Two dozen roses will mean "thinking of you 24 hours a day" or "I am yours." They also say "I belong to you."
Three dozen tells the recipient you are "head over heels in love" with them.
Red and white roses used in a bouquet will mean unity. Red and yellow roses together show happy thoughts. Yellow and white rose bouquets show harmony. Yellow and orange roses hint at passionate ideas.
