Swiss Chard: Ruby Red - Seeds & Bulbs

Swiss Chard
Ruby Red

You will love the color of Ruby Red - deep crimson stalks and veins contrasted by dark green, heavily crumpled, large leaves. Tasty leaves with crunchy stalks make this a kitchen garden favorite. Plants can tolerate hot weather and partial shade.
Note: unlike the other Swiss chards, if the seeds of Ruby Red are exposed to freezing temperatures they will bolt, so plant this one after the last frost. Mature plants will withstand very cold weather.
