Also known s Rouge Vif D'etampes, this is a beautiful french Heirloom pumpkin with deep ridges. It grows to 1' - 2' across and can weigh as much as 20 pounds. Flesh is excellent eaten as a winter squash.

When to Sow Outside: Spring, 2-4 weeks after average last frost date and when soil temperatures have risen above 60F.
When to Sow Inside: Not recommended except in very short season climates. Start 3-4 weeks before last frost date in individual peat or fiber pots.
