The creamy-white flesh is as tasty as it looks. Melons are quite large, weighing in at 7 - 8 pounds. Fruit is very aromatic and flavor is unique - a variety worth trying. Note: What most people think of as cantaloupe are actually muskmelons. True cantaloupe are a hard-shelled melon from Europe.

One packet plants a 40 foot row. After thinning, that's twenty 10' vining plants.

Days to Maturity: 90
When to Sow Outside: Spring, a week or two after last average frost date, and after nights are no longer cool.
When to Sow Inside: 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. Seedlings don't transplant well, so use paper or peat pots.
Seed Depth: 1/2"
Seed Spacing: 1'
Row Spacing: 4' to 6'
Days to Emerge: 5 to 10 days
Thinning: When vines are 4" long, thin to 2' apart.
