Long or short growing season, this melon simply should be in every garden. The combination of very early maturing fruit and great flavor had eluded breeders until Fastbreak. Three to four pounds each, and very sweet. Resists several common diseases.

One packet plants a 10' row. That's 5 - 10 vines after thinning.

When to Sow Outside: Spring, a week or two after last average frost date, and after nights are no longer cool.
When to Sow Inside: Recommended for cool climates. Start seeds 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. Seedlings don't transplant well, so use paper or peat pots.
Seed Depth: 1/2"
Seed Spacing: 1' apart
Row Spacing: 4' to 6'
Days to Emerge: 5 to 10 days
Thinning: When vines are 4" long thin to 2' apart.
