Once cured, hard shelled gourds such as Birdhouse will last indefinitely, and can be painted, carved, cut or drilled as you would do with wood for literally hundreds of craft projects. Leave the natural color or paint and decorate. You'll find construction tips inside the package.

When to Sow Outside: 2 to 3 weeks after last frost. Soil temperature should be at least 65 degrees and outside temperature should be at least 60 degrees.
When to Sow Inside: Not recommended, but in short season climates, they can be started 3-4 weeks before last frost.

Seed Spacing: 6 seeds per hill
Row Spacing: Plant in hills spaced 6' to 8' apart.
Days to Emerge: 5 - 10
Thinning: When plants have several leaves, thin to 3 per hill.
