Swiss Chard: Fordhook Giant - Seeds & Bulbs

Italian White Ribbed

Either steamed, stir-fried, or young foliage eaten fresh, Swiss chard is an excellent kitchen green. With sufficient moisture, it won't bolt in summer - leaves can be harvested until first frost. Tolerates partial shade well.

When to Sow Outside: Early Spring, 2 to 4 weeks before last frost, or when soil temperatures reach 50 degrees.

Thinning: When 2" tall thin to 8" apart.
