This French butterhead was originally from Germany and is a
'sleeper.' Unlike most butterheads, it is very slow to bolt in
summer heat. Excellent for window boxes and indoor pots, this
lettuce also makes a cute border plant. The mild tasting leaves are
soft and buttery, not crunchy. Medium-sized heads. This packet
