One problem gardeners have with sweet peas is sowing them too late. Not a worry with this perennial sweet pea - it comes up at the right time every year. Remove spent flowers to encourage blooms all summer. Great as a ground cover or on a fence or trellis, or growing over rocks. Drought tolerant. Also known as 'Everlasting Pea'. Note: this plant is very prolific and needs to be kept in check.

When to Sow Outside: In Cold Climates, plant as early as the soil can be worked -- St. Patrick's day or earlier. In warm climates, plant October through January for early spring blooms.

Seed Spacing: 2"
Days to Emerge: 20 - 30
Thinning: When 3" tall thin to 6" apart
