Sweet Pea Early Multiflora Mix
(Lathyrus odaratus)

The secret to growing sweet peas successfully is very early planting. Sweet peas should be planted in late winter or spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Early Multiflora is one of the few sweet peas that will bloom during the short days of winter in warm climates! This variety is best for greenhouses and makes a wonderful cut flower in bunches. Mildly fragrant.

When to Sow Outside: In Cold Climates, plant as early as the soil can be worked -- St. Patrick's day or earlier. In warm climates, plant October through January for spring blooms.

Seed Spacing: 2"
Days to Emerge: 5 - 15
Thinning: When 3" tall thin to 6" apart
